Candle Tips for Optimal Enjoyment:

1. Trim the Wick
   Before lighting your candle, trim the wick to about 5mm using a wick trimmer or scissors. This helps prevent soot buildup on the cup, ensures a cleaner burn, and extends the life of your candle.
2. First Burn
   Allow the candle to melt across the entire surface to create an even wax pool. This helps prevent tunneling and ensures an even burn for future uses.
3. Subsequent Burns
   Ensure that the wax pool reaches the edges of the container each time to prevent tunneling and maximise the scent throw.
4. Safety Precautions
   Always place your candle on a heat-resistant surface away from drafts, flammable materials, and out of reach of children and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
5. Extinguish Safely
   Use a candle snuffer or gently blow out the flame to extinguish your candle instead of blowing it out, which can cause wax splatter and smoke.
6. Clean Burn
   To ensure a clean burn, keep the wax pool free of debris such as wick trimmings and matches. Remove any debris before relighting the candle.
7. Storage
   Store your candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading and discolouration of the wax and fragrance.
8. Avoid Drafts
   Keep your candle away from drafts, as they can cause uneven burning and decrease the scent throw.
9. Get creative with the jar
   Place your jar in the freezer until the wax hardens, then gently remove the wax. Clean the jar thoroughly with warm, soapy water to remove any residue. You can then use it for storing small items or as decorative accents in your home.
